Getting started
From your invite to your first reviewed piece of work.
Cruma is invite-only right now. Your invite email carries a link; open it and sign in with Google, Microsoft, or a one-time email link. What happens next is not setup. It is the first real piece of work.
Step 1 · The starting point
Give Cruma one thing to read
You give Cruma one useful starting point: your website, your domain, a description in your own words, or a few files. That is the whole ask.
While you watch, Cruma builds a business brief: what you do, who your customers are, how the business makes money, and what it thinks your current priorities are. Every claim in the brief is backed by where it came from, and the brief is honest about what is still unclear.
Business: event production and client logistics for corporate and private events.
Customers: corporate teams, planners, venues and private hosts.
Still unclear: target margin by event type; which system holds confirmed staffing.
Step 2 · Your review
Correct anything it got wrong
You correct anything it got wrong, in plain words. Anything you tell Cruma directly is taken as fact: it never asks you to re-approve your own statements.
Step 3 · The first real job
Pick a job and watch it happen
Instead of a checklist, Cruma offers two or three real jobs it can start from what it just learned. Things like rescuing a plan that changed, finding client follow-ups at risk, or preparing this week’s operating brief. You pick one, the crew works while you watch, and the result is a real artifact you can review, edit, or send back for changes.
The gala can absorb 310 guests. The AV request is what breaks your margin floor.
My recommendation: accept the guest increase, and offer the AV package as a priced upgrade instead of absorbing it. Finance has the estimate staged either way.
Three client follow-ups are drafted, grounded in each thread's history.
$9,800 in deposits posted after last week's reminders.
That first reviewed artifact is the moment Cruma is set up. The workspace, the rooms, and the early skills were created around the work, not before it.
What we promise about onboarding
- No setup forms. The profile page reflects what Cruma learned; you never fill it in.
- Connections come with a payoff, not a toll. Cruma recommends a connection when it can say why (“you run on bookings, and Cruma can see your real week”), and the first thing you see after connecting is what it learned. Nothing is gated behind “connect apps to continue”.
- You can enter early. The workspace is usable while Cruma keeps reading in the background.
- Honest uncertainty. If something could not be read or verified, Cruma says so instead of papering over it.
